I was completing an assignment for my Business Analytics Capstone class and thought this was funny and would like to share It.
The assignment was to find a bad data graphic and discuss it.
I found this on the subreddit r/dataisugly:

Here’s what I have to say about this Map of America, as potato production.
This graphic is pretty bad. All you can see is that Idaho has the most potato production. Now let’s get into the bad parts of the graphic. Well it’s all bad! The smaller states you have to somehow find the number then look into the legend to see what weird blob represents that state. The states don’t have any relation to their geographical location, size, shape, etc. Washington is in Alaska? Oregon is also in Alaska and Washington? Colorado is Texas? Wait, Florida looks normal, sike, it expanded! You get the point! In the legend, why is whites lowest potato production acres 26? Does every state have at least 26 acres of potatoes harvested? Overall whoever made this spent way too much time on this and basically wasted all of their time.
Moral of the story, DONT do this! I hope I never make a graphic like this in my future career in business analytics.
