Arden and I decided to take a day trip to hike House Mountain. It was about a 40-minute drive from UTK. Overall, it was a great hike and a great trip!

The hike was roughly 4.5 miles. The first part was straight up till we got to the ridge; then we hiked the ridge to the lookout. We made it to the lookout and stopped to eat our Pub Subs we picked up on the drive there. We enjoyed the wonderful view in which we were accompanied by a small lizard under the rock we ate at. After we finished at the top we started the descent back to our car.
